Introducing Freeborn insert tooling and insert shaper cutters. Designed for maximum flexibility and ease of use, any multi-tasking woodworker will quickly see the benefits of these reliable and interchangeable woodworking tools.

Flexible Design
Common minor diameters and vertical profile centering are two features that help distinguish Freeborn insert shapers from other insert tools. In other words, you no longer need to adjust spindle height or fence position when switching from cope to pattern or door edge detail. The detail head body accommodates all Freeborn cope, pattern and door edge detail insert profiles. Freeborn designed their insert shaper tooling with backing plates for each profile so you do not need a different head for each different profile cutter, simply install new tips and backing plates. Each raised panel body comes with universal backing plates, which work with all raised panel profiles.

Selection
Just like the rest of the Freeborn Product line, all insert shaper tools are available in 3/4 inch or 1-1/4 inch bore. Depending on the material being cut, you may select from carbide tipped or T-Alloy tipped inserts. Freeborn insert tooling is sold in complete sets which include the bodies, tips and backing plates, or buy tip sets and individual pieces. Cope and pattern sets are available in square or eased edges.
